TL;DR: Hands-on session from SUG with software engineer Eduardo Arango is available here.

SUG Series Introduction

The inaugural meeting of the Singularity User Group (SUG) was held March 12-13, 2019, at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC). Over the course of the event, over 20 talks were presented by members of the Singularity user, developer, and provider community.

SUG generated a significant amount of interest – even from those who were unable to attend. We are therefore delighted to announce that, over the next few weeks, we’ll be releasing each of the talks presented at SUG.

SUG Talk Introduction

In this second post in our SUG series, a hands-on session by Sylabs’ software engineer Eduardo Arango is the focus. Known for delivering Singularity tutorials and workshops at events globally, here Eduardo tailors his session to those attending SUG through a real-time survey. Because he emphasizes the version 3 release of Singularity, even those familiar with previous releases of the software will derive value from Eduardo’s session. As a staunch engineer, lessons learned and best practices will be evident to those already making use of Singularity 3.

Eduardo’s hands-on session from SUG can be found below and here. Enjoy!
