The Sylabs Thanksgiving turkey ???? has delivered some packages!

Going forward we will be posting RPM packages for EL7 / EL8 distributions, as well as DEB packages for Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04. We hope these will make it easier for you to install the latest SingularityCE on your laptop, desktop, or cluster.

The packages are built in our CI process and will be posted to release pages on GitHub. We’ve added them for this week’s 3.9.1 release here:

https://github.com/sylabs/singularity/releases/tag/v3.9.1

Installation documentation will be updated to refer to the new packages soon.

If you’re looking for long-term support, and packages for a wider range of distributions and architectures then talk to us about SingularityPRO.
